Application Housing
What is the Service?
The EITS Application Housing Environment provides the controlled facility and the infrastructure necessary for the safe, reliable, and secure housing of the EITS data center(s). All servers, systems, and applications that are hosted by EITS are protected within the EITS Housing Environment. The Housing-only Service is available to customers that want server housing while maintaining full administrative and management control of systems, servers, and applications. The service allows customers to retain full control over the administration and management of their servers, systems, and applications without the necessity to maintain a secure housing environment. The housing only option supports this while ensuring that basic corporate facility and environmental protections are in place.

What Should you Expect?
The Housing only option does not include any EITS services for infrastructure cyber security, installation and moves, network support, or any software or application support. It is a HOUSING only service.
- Physical security and environmental conditions that ensure physical safety of IT resources and data (Best Industry Practices or better).
- Emergency response protocol and procedures in place.
- 24 X 7 automatic monitoring, response, and support

How do we charge? |
|
| EITS Housing costs for servers, systems, and applications which are hosted by EITS, are included in the EITS Hosting Service cost and are not billed as a separate charge. Costs for the EITS housing-only service are calculated on a per rack, per server, monthly basis.
